Art in the Park
Ritter Park, Huntington. Annually, third weekend in June. Forty plus artists exhibit and sell work including oil acrylic and watercolor paintings, pastels, woodcarvings, pottery, batik art, photography, and other mediums. Chat with the artists and have pieces commissioned. Bring your favorite person pet.
Barboursville Civil War Days

Barboursville Fall Fest
Over 60 arts & craft booths, super car show, beauty pageant, carnival, live entertainment, and the largest parade in WV. Held during September in Barboursville. (304) 736-8994,
Blenko Festival of Glass
Held during the beginning of August, this two day event at the Blenko Glass Factory in Milton is an area favorite. Take part in glass blowing classes, dow chipping, mobile and wind chime making, glass casting, and more. Create paper weights, ring holders and other souvenirs.
Chili Fest
WV State Chili Championship held annually at Pullman Square, Huntington, each September. Chili cooks from all over West Virginia and surrounding states compete to become the West Virginia champion and compete in the World's Chili Championship. Chili cooking live music, contests, food and entertainment throughout the day. Event benefits the River Cities Ronald McDonald House. (304) 523-4857.
Dogwood Festival
Features the demonstration and sale of traditional arts & crafts plus specialty ethnic foods. Held the last weekend in April at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena. (304) 696-5990.
Greek Festival

Guyandotte Civil War Days
Reenactment of Confederate Raid on Guyandotte and Union reprisal. Genuine and reproduction period items available for purchase. Period music, living histories, museums, sutlers, crafts, displays and concessions. Held in November. Guyandotte, WV. (304) 654-2205.
Heritage Farm and Museum Spring Festival
Held annually, the first Saturday in May at Heritage Farm Museum and Village. Experience life as it was in an Appalachian pioneer community and learn about the major inventions and transportation revolution that changed everything. Travel through history among the 17 restored buildings of the community. Witness a blacksmith, weaver, potter, corn grinder, basket maker, cooper, quilter, wood carver, broom maker, furniture maker and others demonstrate their crafts. Hotdog Festival
Bring the family and the pets to enjoy contests music and entertainment, cars and motorcycle shows, and ten of the top hot dog businesses together in one location. Come hungry the last Saturday in July Pullman Square, Huntington.
Huntington Symphony Orchestra and POPS
Your Huntington Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit corporation, tracing its history to the 1930's, formed for the purpose of cultivating and promoting an understanding and love of the musical arts, primarily through educational activities and the performance of its musical programs. Your HSO provides the only professional, locally-based live symphonic music programming to the Tri-State areas.
Marshall Artist Series
The second oldest town and gown performing arts series in the country, second only to University of Michigan. Housed on the campus of Marshall University since 1936, The Marshall Artists Series brings major touring attractions, including Broadway, ballet, orchestra, comedy pop artists, etc. for the campus and surrounding community. The Marshall Artists Series typically presents 10 - 12 events per year and a bi-annual International Film Festival. New River Train Excursion

Oktoberfest on the Square
Pullman Square in Huntington is transformed into a quaint German Village for a day full of contests and activities, German inspired food, spirits, music and dancing. Held on the first Saturday in October (304) 525-7788.
Pilot Club Antique Show
Area's finest antique show and sale. Over 40 dealers representing more than 10 states. Held the last complete weekend in September, Big Sandy Superstore Arena. (304) 522-3747.
Pullman Summer Concert Series
Thursday evenings in the summer. Listen to live music, drink, and eat. All while walking through the courtyard at Pullman Square.
Pumpkin Festival

Spooktacular
