  • Guyandotte Heritage Days: Arts and crafts, food, entertainment, etc. Held late July. (304) 522-2049.

  • Guyandotte Civil War Days: Reenactment of Confederate raid on Guyandotte and union reprisal. Period music, living histories, museums, settlers, craft displays and concessions. Held in November, Guyandotte, WV 304-654-2205.

  • Hilltop Festival: Features entertainment, children's activities, petting zoo, book fair, arts and crafts, concessions. Second weekend in September, Huntington Museum of Art. (304) 529-2701.

  • Huntington Dogwood Arts and Crafts Festival: Features the demonstration and sale of traditional arts and crafts plus specialty ethnic foods. Held annually in April. Big Sandy Superstore Arena. (304) 696-5990.

  • Jazz-MU-Tazz - Marshall University's summer jazz festival. A weekend of great music, jazz cabaret, outdoor concerts and family fun activities. Held in June.

  • Juneteenth: African-American celebration of freedom. held mid-June. A.D. Lewis Community Center Field.

  • Lions Tri-State Arts & Crafts Festival: Old-fashioned arts and crafts fair includes over 200 exhibitors featuring a variety of arts and crafts and homemade foods and sweets. Held first weekend in December. Big Sandy Superstore Arena. (304) 736-8075.

  • Milton Garden Club's 35th Annual Arts & Crafts Show: Held 1st Weekend in October. This craft show includes over 100 exhibitors. Lunch & Dinner includes great homemade favorites such as pinto beans and cornbread and features their homemade pies. Milton, WV I-64 Exit 28.

  • St. Patrick's Day Celebration: Live entertainment by musical and dance groups appropriate for St. Patrick's Day. Held in March. Downtown Huntington. Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District. (304) 696-5954.
