Date: July 30 - July 30

Website: 12th Annual West Virginia Hot Dog Festival

Location:

Pullman Square | 900 block 3rd Ave

A full day of live entertainment, music, amusements, and contests for you, the family and the family dog!

Our Tri-State area is home to an unusally large number of hot dog businesses, many decades-old, family-owned businesses that shine as beloved, true traditions! We invite you to come to Downtown Huntington as we collect a dozen of the area's top hot dog businesses, and put them in one location, working together to raise money for the children in our region under treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

We welcome you, your family, and the family dog to come to our annual WV Hot Dog Festival to enjoy contests and competitions, live music and entertainment all day, displays, prizes, demonstrations, crafts, shopping, car and truck shows, and to sample all of these wonderfully delicious hot dogs (as much as you can eat!) in one location for the entire day at Pullman Square!

Come treat yourself (and your little dog too!) to our annual WV Hot Dog Festival! This year is the 12th Anniversary!

The Valley Gem is a genuine sternwheeler boat built and put into the water in 1989. The original Valley Gem was put into service 42 years ago by owner Jim Sands. He designed and built the boat, which can fit 290 passengers. He spent about two years designing on his dining room table and got all of the plans approved through the Coast Guard. He and his family, along with some close friends, built the new Valley Gem. It took about 18 months to complete, and was built in a hayfield beside the river just outside of Marietta, Ohio. The Valley Gem accommodates school children, college groups, public tours, corporate functions, anniversaries, birthdays, bus groups and more. They cater their own meals for their dinner cruises. Docking at Harris Riverfront Park, the Gem will be available to individuals and groups for educational and fall foliage sightseeing tours, special themed lunch and dinner cruises, private group bookings and more. Pricing is based on the type of cruise.
